I thought having a bitchy outgoing message would take care of Ms. Leave Four Messages Thinking I’m Avoiding Her. But really it’s just making me want to have my phone very close with me at the ready to pick it up immediately since said outgoing message is so bitchy. Ug. I’ve been listening to Bridgette [...] I just submitted an essay – a little piece – to Runner’s World about how my kids coined the term Shogger (shuffle + jogger) to describe how I run. I feel great… I wrote an essay and submitted it! I’m back in the writing world. Long ago I heard about teens who are paid or rewarded by corporations to plug the company’s products online. So the teens casually mention that they use this or that product on various blogs or boards. Here’s my reverse of that. These are places and products I will never be associated with. - McDonald’s, Burger [...] That’s right! This morning I ran 10 miles. Took me 1:47, which is in line with my usual 5-6 miles per hour pace. The kids say I shog. That’s a shuffle and a jog. I’m darned proud of it. On December 2nd of last year, I huffed and puffed half a mile. 4 months later, [...] I’m registering for a yoga class on January 1 that benefits Pacific Wildlife Care.
